Dan is actively participating in medical trials which are very costly and advocating for federal policies to improve access to trails as well as faster paths to the patience in hopes of improving quality of life and of course a cure.

Do It Like Dan
In October of 2021 after dealing with various issues, aches & pains and assuming that it was due to sports injuries and turning 49, Dan was given the heartbreaking news that he has ALS.
The Jones Family (Dan & Ann and their 3 children, Izzy, 20, Trey, 17, and Charlie, 12) have been part of the Woodstock, VT community since 2001.
Over the last 20+ years, Ann & Dan have selflessly contributed to the community in many ways while raising their 3 children.
Dan is an active coach in kid’s in lacrosse, hockey & soccer while Ann has been involved with and held various board positions with Rainbow Preschool, Woodstock Elementary PTO, Woodstock High School’s Endowment Committee & Woodstock Youth Hockey.
The Jones family is always quick to help and support the community and those in need. Now it’s time for us to help support them with their fight with ALS through the Do It Like Dan foundation and celebrate Dan’s legacy.

Our primary goal is to help Dan’s family with their efforts to care for Dan and participate in medical trials and ALS research.
